The
Zimbabwe in Devon Camp happens every year, the first
week in July. This is the 6th in success.
Gwenyambira
Chartwell Dutiro grew up playing mbira for the
ancestral Spirits in Zimbabwe. He has toured the world
performing, teaching and singing. One of his greatest
skills is bringing people together in music and
spirit. "Mbira
makes me
think deeply".
This
long weekend will be an opportunity to learn from these
unique skills, build bridges between cultures and
immerse yourself in the music and spirit of Zimbabwe.
Dates:
July 1st till the 7th 2008.
A
long weekend of mbira playing, singing Shona songs and
dancing with Chartwell Dutiro. More than just a few
days of intensive Zimbabwean culture. This will be an
experience!

You
will need to bring a tent and camping equipment.
Coombe
farm is set in a peaceful Deveonshire valley, much
of the land is embryonic wilderness. The camp will
be fully catered for with vegetarian, vegan and Zimbabwean
food.

to book your place early!
